Description
Here’s how to calculate the cost for the parts you want coated in DLC/PVD:
1.) You can choose between satin (bead blasted) and glossy (polished) surfaces.
2.) Measure your gun part and calculate the cross-section of the two smallest surfaces: A x B (width x height) in square millimeters.
It is important to measure the entire component (for example, for a Glock slide: the entire front part counts as the height, including the recess for the slide spring!)
3.) From the first menu item, select the appropriate cross-section (the selection must not be smaller than your actual cross-section, otherwise the calculation will be incorrect and we will have to charge a surcharge).
4.) In the second menu item, select the length (C) of your gun part (always use the largest measurement of the gun part for the length, otherwise the calculation will be incorrect).
Now the price for the DLC/PVD coating will be displayed, and you can add this part to your cart.
Would you like to have more parts coated?
No problem – simply go back to the configurator and calculate the next part. Complete the payment process only after you have added all the parts you want to coat to your cart.
IMPORTANT: Parts can only be coated when fully disassembled!
For example, it is not possible to coat a Glock MOS slide with the mounting plate attached! This consists of 4 separate parts, all of which must be coated individually (slide, mounting plate, 2x screws).
Please take this into account in your calculation and really calculate each part individually that you wish to coat.
