Description
This is how to calculate the cost for your desired DLC/PVD-coated parts:
1.) You can choose between satin-matte (bead-blasted) and glossy (polished) surface finishes.
2.) Measure your firearm part and calculate the cross-sectional area of the two smallest dimensions:
A × B (width × height) in square millimeters.
It is important that you measure the entire component accurately.
Example: For a Glock slide, the complete front section counts as the height — including the recoil spring cutout.
3.) In the first dropdown menu, select the appropriate cross-sectional category.
The selected category must not be smaller than the actual cross-section of your part, otherwise the calculation will be incorrect and we will have to charge an additional fee afterward.
4.) In the second dropdown menu, select the length (C) of your firearm part.
For the length, always use the largest dimension of the component, otherwise the calculation will be incorrect.
5.) If the part is a highly stressed firearm component that is to be PVD coated, the option “including reproofing” must also be selected.
(This option only needs to be selected once per firearm, provided that at least one highly stressed component is being coated.)
6.) If the part is a regulated firearm component and the firearm/parts are to be returned after processing, the option “special shipping” must be selected here.
(Only required once per order.)
The price for the DLC/PVD coating will now be displayed and you can add the part to your cart.
Would you like to have additional parts coated?
No problem — simply return to the configurator and calculate the next part. Please only complete the checkout process once you have added all parts you want coated to the cart.
IMPORTANT: Parts can only be coated when fully disassembled!
Example: It is not possible to coat a Glock MOS slide with the cover plate installed.
This assembly consists of 4 individual parts, all of which must be coated separately (slide, cover plate, 2 screws).
Please take this into account when calculating your order and make sure to calculate every individual part you want coated separately.
ATTENTION: There is a minimum order value of €299 per color.
For this reason, we combine multiple customer orders into batch orders so that we do not have to pass this minimum charge on to individual customers, which may result in longer lead times for these coatings.
If no waiting time is desired, the order total must exceed the minimum order value, otherwise we will have to charge the difference.
Please understand that we cannot offer dealer discounts for DLC/PVD coatings.
